Our musical world is quieter. Stages have their curtains drawn. Our hearts are struggling with the weight.
Buzz ( Robert Hamlyn ) passed suddenly this weekend. He was a force, a quiet strength, armed with a guitar and the ability to make you feel what he felt. Cece , Buzz and Word of Mouth played over a hundred gigs per year and brought clubs and events full houses and packed dance floors for close to two decades.
He was a founding member of the Bel-Vistas, formerly of The Game, and most recently was writing and recording with Stone Blue. Buzz brought passionate creative solos, soulful tone, experience, groove, vocals and his unique indisputable Edge to Cece Pastor and Word of Mouth. We love you Buzz. We will cherish all the memories, all the laughs, all the notes. You will not be forgotten. Yes, we will turn you up in the mix.
